Our thriving family finance team are specialists in all aspects of matrimonial and family finance, from cases concerning modest assets through to high value cases involving injunctive relief, businesses, trusts, third party interests or international dimensions. We also have experts in property and chancery disputes between unmarried couples, same-sex partners or extended family, inheritance disputes, and claims relating to the maintenance of children.

As a team, we are supported by the relevant expertise of our fellow teams in Pantheon Chambers in areas such as employment, commercial disputes, insolvency and crime when required. We excel in those family finance cases where family law collides with other areas of law.

Chambers has dealt with many of the most difficult and complex matters related to financial disputes, including high value claims [e.g. YSG (YX) v. LYAG [2022] HKFC 44 & [2022] HKFC 114]. Our members are experienced across aspects of family finance, often appearing alone against senior counsel, or lead by foreign King's Counsel. They have made new law and been pioneers in this area, in particular in relation to enforcement e.g. Re AAR [2022] 5 HKLRD 583], overseas trusts [e.g. KCMA v. ABC [2021] HKCFI 3392], partition of property between spouses [e.g. Cheung Wing Kuen, Samuel v. Ip Chui Sum [2021] HKCFI 3162], financial undertakings [e.g. D, M v.
